Haiku Contest!

The Self Aware gang, as Fares in Taxiball

Want to win a free copy of Taxiball? Write us a haiku!

What’s a haiku? The simple version is, it’s a three-line poem, where the first line is 5 syllables, the second is 7, and the third is 5 again.

So here’s the contest: Write us something for the App Store description of Taxiball – a charming way to hook someone who might be interested in grabbing the game!

“But, how am I supposed to know what’s cool about Taxiball? Clearly, I’m trying to win a code for a free copy, here!”

Sure – that’s why we’ve got a Free version of the game!

Give it a whirl, and write us a haiku about what you think of the game. The winner receives a promo code AND will have their haiku included (with proper credit, of course!) in our App Store text for the game!

Leave your Haiku in the comments of this post, and at the end of the week, we’ll pick a winner!

  1. Submitting a few…

    Got somewhere to go?
    Let TaxiBall take you there!
    Just a five buck fare.

    Tutorial rhymes
    Accelerometer times
    TaxiBall goodness

    Beep! Beep! Your cab’s here.
But it’s a big yellow ball?
    Explains the cheap fare.

  2. Four-part haiku:

    Around the city
    There’s a new taxi running
    Round and round it goes

    It’s a Taxiball!
    The ride’s a little bumpy
    But they pay their fare

    All along the road
    There are obstacles waiting
    Take it easy now

    Bring them all back home
And you will make them happy
    Hurray for taxis!

  3. So shiny and round
    Circling the NASBALL track
    Gives me chills and thrills

Ok, since I mentioned NASBALL, I know it’s obvious I already own the game, so please don’t enter me in the drawing. I just wanted to play the haiku game. :D
