I started playing this on my Palm Pre when it was first released. At the beginning, the play was very fair and the odds were accurate. As time went on I started noticing a shift in the odds that heavily went to the house. It got so frustrating I eventually stopped playing the app entirely and removed all the developers games from my Pre. (Word Ace, Hold’Em, and Black Jack) if, in the future, the developers decide to return the game to it’s original state of play, I’ll happily reinstall. Until then all I can say is good luck with your game.
I’m sorry that you’ve deleted the games, but you should know that we have never changed the odds on Blackjack – they’ve been consistent since day 1. The game isn’t rigged in any way – the dealer’s dealt from the same deck, with the same odds as all the players. If you look at the overall performance of the dealer vs. the players, it’s consistent with how the odds should work.
Some days, the dealer wins – some days, the dealer loses. That’s how randomness works – the dealer’s bound by the same odds as the players, and that’s how it should be.
