For players who have recently transitioned to Android from another device & have existing accounts – to transfer your old account to your new device:

1.) Download Card Ace: Blackjack on your Android device. Go to Friends -> Find New Friend, and grab the code you find there.

2.) If you have your previous device, do the same there & send us both codes, clearly label which is which. If you no longer have your previous device, send us your username, along with any other info about your account – like level, XP, a description of your pictures, etc. If you have a friend who still has your account as a friend, you should be able to grab the info easily from their Friend List.

3.) E-mail that to support (/at/) selfawaregames (/dot/) com, and we’ll get your account transferred.

See you online!

Can you have accounts on multiple devices? I have an Evo and a Pre and don’t want to get rid of either!

  2. seppo says:

Yep! Just e-mail over your friend codes, and we’ll get you hooked up.

If accounts are linked now for Blackjack, will they also automatically be linked for Card Ace and Word Ace when they come out?

  6. JJ says:

Did you guys remove it from the marketplace? It says it can’t find it when you search and when you use the QR code.

    • seppo says:

Hi, JJ – what kind of Android phone do you have? It looks like it’ll only show up for phones running certain versions of Android. That may be the issue for you.

Ever since I downloaded the new iPhone software, I can’t get my daily 1000 chip bonus for the Hold’em game. Been like this for two weeks.

    • seppo says:

Hi, keith – the issue is that with iOS4, when you hit the Home button, it’s not actually completely exiting the game anymore. As a result, the daily chip award isn’t getting reset, since you’re not restarting the game. We’re working on a fix, but in the meantime, you just have to shut down the game completely by double-tapping the home button, then finding the icon in the bottom tray, hold the icon ’till the “stop” button appears, and then click on it again. :) Simple, right? Hope that helps!

Are you guys releasing a Card Ace hold em for android??? If so when are you???

    • seppo says:

Hi, Rich – we don’t have a release date just yet, but we’re working on it right this second. It’ll be a couple weeks, at least. Just keep an eye on the blog, and we’ll post a note when it’s live.

  9. Nick says:

It won’t let me change my profile picture. I have a droid x. When I try it just changes my phones background. Help

    • seppo says:

Hi, Nick – we’re looking into a way of fixing that problem. With the Droid X, one of the custom features of the UI actually hijacks the photo crop tool, which is why it ends up putting the photo as your desktop. We’re trying to get around that, and as soon as we do, we’ll have an update for the game.

      Thanks!

    • seppo says:

Hi, BIG O – the basic rules of Blackjack can be found in the How To section. If you’re playing on Android, it’ll be on the title screen when the app starts.

      Cheers!
