Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a good long weekend, and while you’re waiting for food, or waiting in line on Friday, don’t forget to get in a game of Word Ace, Card Ace, or Taxiball! :D
(Seriously, if you want to buy Word Ace & Card Ace chips, check out the game on Friday!)

So… What’s Up?

lunch

Been a while since we had a picture of lunch, and yet, again it’s Bakesale Betty. That place will be the (delicious) death of us.

Some of the bigger news - if you’ve got a new Pixi, be sure to check out Word Ace & Card Ace, both of which have versions for Palm’s new device. If you’ve got a Pre, don’t forget to grab the new Card Ace & Word Ace updates, which keep things up to speed with webOS version 1.3.1!

We get regular requests for versions of our Apps on Android, and while we don’t have the resources to develop for that platform yet, we do hope you’ll be able to check out our games on Facebook: Word Ace and Card Ace.

If you’ve got a Pre, you’ll be able to link up your existing Pre account to the game on Facebook, so that you can share all your info. Just go to the “Profile” tab and select “Import Account.” All your friends, XP, chips, etc. will be ported right over, and merged with your Facebook friends! We’re working on getting this working both for the iPhone, and so you can import your Facebook account to a mobile device, so that should be coming soon.

As we recently posted, the physical deck of Word Ace cards is finally on its way. Early December, we’ll be taking orders for decks - $24.99 will get you a deck of exclusive Word Ace cards, from our very limited initial print run. You’ll get a deck, and instructional leaflet, signed and hand-numbered by the members of Self Aware Games. This run is extremely limited, so if you want a deck for the holidays, keep your eye out - we’ll be taking orders soon!

We’re also continuing to work on updates for Word Ace & Card Ace - we just laid out our schedule for the next couple months, and we’ve got some great features in the pipe for both games! From really polishing up (and speeding up) gameplay to user ratings to in-game gifts, we’ve taken a lot of the feedback we’ve received from the community to heart, and are working hard to improve the experience for everyone.

Also, one of the features we’ve discussed from the start is the ability to simply donate to help support the continued development of Word Ace & Card Ace. It’s taken us a little longer than we’d expected to get this feature in place - it keeps getting pushed in favor of other features that improve the games - but it’ll be coming soon!

In addition to all that, we’ve been starting to explore what’s next. And while I can’t say anything about it yet… if we can pull it off, it’s going to be *ridiculous*.

A quick version of the Self Aware Games logo in Forza 3! If you want to download it, it’s free in the marketplace. I’m gonna try a version of the new logo (with the “halo”), but just wrapping my head around the vinyl creator’s taking some time. :D
